Juiced

I just need to get this off my chest. Jose Canseco is an ass. The man is clearly lying about something, even if it’s not about who is using steroids in baseball. He can’t answer questions in a straightforward manner. He’s sketchy. He has obviously been coached by his publisher to always drop a teaser in his interviews about the next big bombshell. First I saw interviews a couple months ago about the book that hadn’t even been written yet. He wouldn’t say what was going to be in the book, just that everyone would be shocked. Now that the book is out, he says all the people who are saying he is lying will be silenced in a month when something else happens. It turns out that something else is a Pay-per-view event of him taking a polygraph test. Talk about a moneygubbing jerk! I’m sure it’s true there are plenty of baseball players using steroids. But if I have to watch Canseco sensationalize his life in one more interview, I’m going to hurl.

Me too, me too!!

Being the politically aware person that I am, I have been hearing about the world of “the bloggers” ever since the presidential primaries last spring. Here I thought these blogs were maintained by professional journalists. Silly me! Imagine my surprise when my husband came home from work one day and announced that he had a blog! It’s not bad either. So, not to be outdone, I have created this blog. Please keep in mind that I spend most of my time talking to a 5 month old so my once sharp and insightful mind has been severely dulled of late. Hence the lack of a creative name for my blog. I hope that taking the time to compose these posts will help rectify that situation. I will welcome comments, positive or negative, as long as they are thoughtful and not base or profane.
