How Pampered Chef Is Helping Fund Our Adoption

No, I do not sell Pampered Chef products, but I’ve bought them many times before. In fact way back in 2001, when we lived in Reading, Pennsylvania, I hosted a Pampered Chef party in our first house. I still remember the delicious Tex-Mex toasts that the consultant made. A few of the products I bought or got for free at that show have become staples in my kitchen and I use them almost every day, more than a decade later.

This week I’m hosting a Pampered Chef party both online and at my house, and instead of free products I will get 15% of all orders donated straight to our adoption fund. AND that donation has already been doubled through a matching grant from our church through Lifesong for Orphans. Score! I am so grateful to my friend Semalee Bilbrey for suggesting this.

So if you are interested in ordering some Pampered Chef products (seriously, everyone should have their magic ice cream scooper) just click on this link and enter my name in the host box, Sarah Hubbell. Order away, and we both win. You get great stuff, I get help bringing my sweet girl home from Haiti. All orders must be placed by Saturday, September 28th.

Pampered Chef 12 inch skillet
Pampered Chef Executive 12″ Skillet

Hands down the best kitchen purchase I ever made was my Executive Cookware 12″ Skillet and Glass Lid. It’s definitely one of the priciest items they sell, but I cannot even tell you how much it has been worth every penny. You can brown five pounds of ground beef at once in that thing! The glass lid is perfect for steaming and I use it to help drain the extra fat off of meat. When we had friends living with us for a month, they cooked with it and threatened to take it with them when they moved out. It’s non-stick and heavy and is so durable that it’s like new after twelve years of almost daily use.

Another favorite Pampered Chef item that I use almost every day is the Small Black Micro-Cooker. It’s cheap! $8.50 exactly. I cook a ton of frozen veggies with it. And soup. But mostly frozen veggies. It’s perfect for steaming.

Finally there’s the stoneware, which I don’t know how I ever lived without. My first stoneware purchase was this plain round pizza stone. I was a little freaked out by the idea of not washing it with soap, and I had the idea that cooking various foods on it would make my cookies taste like french fries and vice versa. Cookies and french fries? You thought it was just for pizza, huh? No! It is for EVERYTHING!

Stoneware cooks everything absolutely perfectly, with no burning. I use it for pizza, cookies, french fries and quick bread. Mmmmm crescent rolls! Since that first purchase I went on to buy a bar pan and a baker and a stone muffin pan. I admit that I don’t use the muffin stone much because it is harder to clean.

Ok so, once again, if you’re interested in ordering and supporting our adoption, click here and type “Sarah Hubbell” in the host box. Order by this Saturday, September 28th. Thank you in advance!!!
