So today was one of those really awful days that you just want to be over. I know I am supposed to be thankful even for days like today, but right now I am hugely grateful for the truth of Lamentations 3:22-23:
Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
I especially love to take photos with my iPhone in the early morning around here. It’s a great way to start my day. We have tons of amazing sunrises, and lately we’ve had a few of those gorgeous misty mornings.
Thank goodness that tomorrow will bring a new day, with family and worship and no obligations. New mercies.
